MacDonald rejoined the team for Sunday's contest against the Sabres, but was made a healthy scratch, Philly.com reports.MacDonald had missed Friday's game as he dealt with a personal matter, and coach Craig Berube elected to hold him out an extra game so he could get some practice time before returning to game action. He should be back in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Blue Jackets.
