Luke Adam will face stiff competition to make the Buffalo Sabres out of training camp. Adam is perhaps more widely regarded as a center, but he's also capable of serving as a winger and hopes that versatility will help him crack the Sabres' lineup. "I don't feel like one position is more suitable for me, but I feel comfortable at both and I'll play where ever Lindy asks me," Adam said, referring to Sabres coach Lindy Ruff. Adam had a great start to the 2011-12 campaign, but he went cold and eventually got sent down to the minors. He had 10 goals and 20 points in 52 NHL games.
