Labanc produced a power-play assist, two hits and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Jets.
EDGE Analysis
Labanc had his streaky moments in 2020-21, but he's off to a solid start after a helper in this season-opening contest. The 25-year-old's career-high output is 56 points in 82 games in 2018-19, but he posted just 61 points in the next 125 outings over the last two seasons. He'll open 2021-22 in a third-line role, but a role on the power play could help give him a higher floor, and he's still a modestly physical presence.
