Wheeler recorded an assist, two shots on goal and four PIM in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Ducks.
EDGE Analysis
Wheeler set up Kyle Connor for the Jets' lone goal of the game in the second period. Now in his age-35 season, it's fair to wonder if Wheeler can continue to be a consistent point producer. He was solid last year with 15 goals, 31 assists and 113 shots on goal, but he also posted a career-worst minus-17 rating. The Minnesota native appears set to begin the year in his familiar top-line role, which should give him plenty of chances for success.
