Linus Omark practiced Monday on the point of Buffalo's second power-play unit. He saw some action there in Sunday's shootout win over Washington, so it looks the experiment will continue. "He did pretty well. He has a set of skills that very few have," interim coach Ted Nolan said. "We've just got to get him to do less skills and more finish, but he's doing well." The Sabres rank dead last in the NHL with only 71 goals and they sit 28th overall on the power play, so they should be more than willing to try new things. Omark has one assist in eight games since being acquired from Edmonton.
