Lindback will be in the net for Tuesday's game against the Bruins, Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News reports. The Sabres were expected to go with backup Matt Hackett for Tuesday's nod, but after much discussion, coach Ted Nolan said the team decided to stick with Lindback for the second straight night while the goalie continues to play well. It's worth bearing in mind that "playing well" takes on a different definition for the Sabres, who don't exactly have a high standard for production given their league-worst 45 points. Lindback has posted a 2.70 GAA and .924 save percentage over his six appearances (five starts) since joining the Sabres, but an 0-3-2 record to show for it.
