Lindback will be between the pipes for Friday's game against the Blue Jackets, John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports. For all the talk of the Sabres' tanking to secure the league's worst record, Lindback has been doing his best to compromise those efforts. After a 49-save performance Monday to clip the Hurricanes, Lindback's record now stands at 4-6-2 to go along with an impeccable .923 save percentage over his 14 outings with the Sabres. The team's lack of offensive playmakers will still make Lindback the underdog Friday, but expect him to deliver another competitive showing. With the Sabres set to play again Saturday in their finale against the Penguins, Friday's outing could be the last of the season for Lindback.
