Lindback made 36 saves in a 2-0 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday. He earned the game's third star for his efforts -- he really stood on his head at times. It's interesting that his numbers (GAA and save percentage) in sad-sack Buffalo (2.81, .923) are significantly better than what he delivered in supposedly-better Dallas this season (3.71, .875). We're not sure what it bodes for his future, as the Sabres will be bad for a few more years. But he does have some potential.
