Lemieux was one of four players traded to the Jets on Wednesday in the deal that sent Evander Kane to the Sabres, John Vogl of the Buffalo News reports.Lemieux is probably the least notable piece the Jets received in their haul, as the 18-year-old is currently playing in the OHL and is years away from making an impact for the NHL club. The 18-year-old, whose father Claude carved out a lengthy career in the NHL, has posted 35 goals and 15 assists over 46 games with the Barrie Colts this season. However, it's Lemieux's willingness to hit and aptitude on the penalty kill that will dictate his climb through the Jets system. Since he doesn't profile as a major scorer at the next level, his upside in dynasty formats is limited.
