Lemieux sustained a lower-body injury and is "week-to-week," Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lemieux is the son of Claude Lemieux, a former NHL toughman who won the Stanley Cup four times and with three different clubs. The younger Lemieux spent most of last year with OHL Windsor, notching 48 points (23 goals, 25 assists) in 34 regular-season games. He also had a cup of coffee with AHL Manitoba, where he'll presumably be for most (if not all) of the 2016-17 campaign. Winnipeg has the gritty winger on an entry-level deal through the 2018-19 season.
