Lehtera (ankle) is on schedule in his recovery from early August surgery and should be ready around the Blues' season opener, reports Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

EDGE Analysis

Lehtera had a nice rookie season, posting 44 points in 75 games while centering phenom Vladimir Tarasenko for much of the season. Given the nature of his injury, a slow start as he rounds into form is to be expected, but barring any set backs it sounds like he won't miss much time in the regular season.
