Voracek suffered a lower-body injury late in the third period of Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Wild and did not return, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Blue Jackets down 2-1 and Elvis Merzlikins pulled for an extra attacker, Voracek skated up the ice with a head of steam only to get tripped by Marcus Foligno and sent sprawling. Voracek was able to skate to the bench under his own power afterward, but he appeared to be in a great deal of pain after the trip and coach Brad Larsen had no update on his condition after the contest. With Patrik Laine (knee) also getting banged up in overtime, the Jackets could be down two key offensive contributors Sunday against the Golden Knights.
