Landeskog scored a goal in his third straight game Monday against the Coyotes. Additionally, he chipped in four hits in his 16:06 of ice time.Landeskog fell two minutes short of his season average in ice time in the game, but that was likely a byproduct of coach Patrick Roy resting some of his top players in the third period while the Avs held a commanding lead. More notable is the scoring surge for Landeskog, who like just about every Colorado forward this season, has generally failed to fulfill preseason expectations. Last year's marks of 65 points and plus-21 are certainly out of the question for Landeskog, but the 22-year-old's strong pedigree makes him an attractive waiver wire if his owner in shallower formats previously cut him loose.
