Kyle Turris said he enjoyed his time in Finland and is willing to return. Turris was scrutinized for his negative comments about the road trips, which he called "horrendous," and the boring lifestyle, but he spoke publicly Thursday for the first time since the Globe and Mail quoted him about his experience. "I read it for the first time and I was extremely upset," Turris said after skating with fellow NHLers and university players. "It put a very negative characterization on my experience in Oulu. It was a great experience. I'm very thankful I had the opportunity to go. It was lots of fun. I talked to lots of guys and my roommate Jason Demers was a great guy. I learned a lot and, like I said, I would go back."
