Kyle Brodziak is looking to bounce back after a poor 2013 season. Brodziak had only eight goals and 12 points in 48 games as well as a minus-18 rating during the truncated 2013 season after a 22 goal, 44 point season in 2011-12. Brodziak had pneumonia at the start of last season and never quite recovered but is now healthy heading into 2013-14. "My message to him is he does not need to apologize for last season," coach Mike Yeo said. "Now, are we hoping for a little bit more? For sure we are, there's no question. ... He has a huge role on our team, I think he looks great, he's really taken care of himself and the biggest thing for him and for us right now is just making sure his confidence is high." He played with Matt Cooke and Torrey Mitchell on Friday. Brodziak should return to the 20 goal, 40 point mark this season but your league needs to be deep in order for Brodziak to be selected.
