Krug was forced out of Saturday's 7-3 win over the Stars at the 18:26 mark of the third period with what appeared to be a right arm or shoulder issue, the Boston Globe reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prior to his exit from the contest, Krug notched an assist in 21:45 worth of ice time, which included 5:17 on the power play. Meanwhile, the mobile blueliner's streak without a goal extended to 33 games. That said, though Krug has had a hard time finding the back of the net of late, it's not as though the scoring chances haven't been there for him. Through 58 games, Krug -- who has logged a 3/23/26 line in that span -- has recorded a total 178 shots, good for second most on the Bruins after Patrice Bergeron (200). Following the injury he suffered Saturday, consider Krug day-to-day as Monday's home game against Columbus approaches.
