Krug has missed the scoresheet in four consecutive games entering Tuesday's action, marking just the second time this year he's experienced a slump of that length.

That said, the skilled young blueliner has unleashed 16 shots on goal in that four-game span, a fine rate that deserves a better reward than no points and a minus-1 rating. He's a good bet to get it together soon, with Tuesday's home draw against St. Louis providing his next opportunity. However, we're still waiting to see Krug exceed the approximately point-every-other-game pace he's put up over the course of his young NHL career. He's got the upside to be better than that and is skating career-high minutes, but his lack of size at 5-foot-9 can make the Bruins loathe to roll him out in defensive situations.
