Kris Versteeg played mostly alongside Andrew Shaw and Bryan Bickell on the third line on Saturday night while picking up an assist in his effort. Versteeg went from a "top dog" situation in Florida to more of a role playing situation in Chicago. He spent the majority of his ice-time alongside Bickell and Shaw (66.1 percent of his shifts), but also saw a couple of shifts alongside Patrick Sharp and Jonathan Toews (11.7 percent of his time on ice). He did garner some second unit power-play time (2:38) alongside Brandon Pirri and Brandon Saad, so that's a little bit of a positive, but it probably won't be enough to ensure that he's entirely fantasy relevant anymore.
