Kris Versteeg (lower body) was placed on injured reserve by the Panthers on Monday. He can be activated by Friday and is believed to be sidelined with a groin ailment. Versteeg was Florida's third-leading scorer last season with 54 points in 71 games, so his absence removes plenty of offense from their lineup.
