Kreider scored a goal in Sunday's 7-2 rout of Anaheim. Crashing the net on a loose puck in the goal, Kreider broke open the scoring less than two minutes into the game. More importantly is Kreider's centerman Derek Stepan broke out of a quiet 12-game drought, perhaps signaling an increase in production for Kreider who has been fairly quiet (four points through 10 games in March) himself. The goal, his 18th of the season, does set a new career-high for while the point ties his career-high of 37 points last season.
