Koivu did not have any points and just one shot on goal in 17 minutes of ice time Thursday despite the Wild blowing out Colorado 6-0. Koivu begins the season on a line with Matt Cooke and Thomas Vanek. It may take time for him to click with newcomer Vanek, so don't read too much into the first game.
