Tierney scored two power-play goals on three shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over Dallas.
EDGE Analysis
Tierney found the back of the net twice in the second period, turning a 1-1 deadlock into a two-goal Ottawa lead. His first came midway through the frame when Shane Pinto chipped the puck toward the front of the net and it ricocheted off Tierney's body and past Dallas goalie Anton Khudobin. Tierney then made it a 3-1 game by converting a Zach Sanford backdoor feed with a minute left in the period. Tierney has three goals in the first three contests of the season, already putting him halfway to his 55-game total from 2020-21.
