Kevin Poulin stopped 35 of 37 shots Tuesday, but the Islanders dropped a 2-1 decision to Buffalo. Poulin played well enough to win in this game, but his teammates couldn't muster enough offense to earn him a victory. Unfortunately for him, he's likely to be sent down to the minors once Evgeni Nabokov is fully recovered from the flu.
