Kevin Poulin stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Islanders' 2-1 overtime win over the Avalanche Friday night. Poulin made a number of tough saves, including one against Cody McLeod at 8:20 of the third period after McLeod stole the puck from Ryan Strome in the New York end and drove to the net. Poulin has won five of his last six decisions and he now has a 8-12-0 record. He has a 3.12 goals-against average and .895 save percentage this season.
