Kevin Poulin sticked aside 26 shots in the Islanders 3-1 win over the Bruins on Saturday night. The Islanders certainly carried over some momentum from their come-from-behind shootout win against the Senators a night earlier. Poulin was excellent between the pipes in his best start (of three) in the young season. Beyond being a bit off his game this season, Evgeni Nabokov is 38 years old, so it would behoove Poulin to take advantage of his opportunities because he might be able to steal some starts.
