Kevin Poulin has agreed to a two-year, two-way contract with the New York Islanders. Poulin comes with a $650,000 annual cap hit, but he'll technically only make $175,000 per season at the AHL level. We say technically because his contract comes with a guarantee that he'll earn no less than $275,000 annually, so he'll end up getting at least that amount even if he never gets called up to the Islanders.
