Kevin Poulin allowed five goals in the Islanders' 6-4 loss to the Flyers on Saturday night. The Flyers' final goal was scored via the empty net. With a 2-0 lead by the middle of the first period and then a 4-3 advantage later in the second, the Islanders should've won this game. Instead, their Achilles' heel continues to be their shoddy goaltending, as Poulin made just 26 saves. In his defense, Poulin does have three games over his last five in which he's given up two or fewer, though. On the season, he has a 3.10 goals-against average and .895 save percentage.
