Karl Alzner has agreed to a two-year/$2.57 million contract extension with the Washington Capitals. Alzner had 12 points and was third on the team with 132 blocked shots in 82 games. He's solid defensively, but he shouldn't be counted on to have any fantasy value in 2011-12.
