Justin Abdelkader has been suspended for one game for a knee-on-knee hit on Konstantin Pushkaryovbegan of Kazakhstan. The play occurred on Friday at the World Hockey Championship and so Abdelkader won't be eligible to play against Finland on Sunday. The USA captain has one goal and assist in five contests during the tournament.
