Just called back from the minors earlier in the day, Dvorak enjoyed 15:20 of ice time and potted his first NHL goal in Thursday's shootout win over Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
He didn't even have a chance to play an AHL game before getting called back thanks to a couple injuries in Arizona's forward ranks. As perhaps the most lethal scorer in the OHL for the past two seasons, the 20-year-old Dvorak seems ready to make a full-time transition to the big leagues; however, he's stuck in a numbers game right now, so his immediate future hinges on the prognoses of Martin Hanzal and Tobias Rieder's lower-body injuries as well as the team's upcoming NHL-or-juniors decision regarding Dylan Strome.
