Josh Harding will make a surprise start on Wednesday. Niklas Backstrom was expected to play on Wednesday, but a personal matter will prevent him from doing so. The Wild have signed Paul Deutsch, a 51-year-old who already had tickets to Wednesday's game, to serve as the backup goaltender. Needless to say, Harding should be expected to play for the entire 60 minutes, even if he ends up having a terrible night.
