Josh Harding has been placed on the injured reserve list as he needs an adjustment in his medication for multiple sclerosis. Harding is expected to return on December 27 as the adjustment in his dosage was expected. "This is not a major situation at all," GM Chuck Fletcher said. "This didn't come out of the blue. I've been talking to Josh for a while about this. He needs to make an adjustment in his protocols, and now is a good time to do it [with the Dec. 24-26 holiday break on the horizon]. He feels good. He played well [Tuesday] night, but it's just something that has to be taken care of." Harding has been the top fantasy goaltender this season in the NHL with an 18-5-3 record, a scintillating 1.51 GAA and a .939 save percentage. Niklas Backstrom will likely start the next three games.
