Jose Theodore was saddled with a loss in Florida's 5-0 defeat at the hands of the Flyers Thursday night. The former Minnesota Wild netminder left the The North Star State this summer to bring his talents to Sunrise. Theodore entered training camp as the Panthers' starter after a surprisingly solid season last year backing up Niklas Backstrom. Netminder Scott Clemmensen was able to wrestle the job away from him during a few stretches this year, but with a 18-13-6 record on the season, there is no question that Theo is enjoying a fine season under the sun even with the devastating loss tonight.
