Jose Theodore allowed five goals on 21 shots against the Washington Capitals before being replaced by Scott Clemmensen midway through the third period. The Caps had been struggling to score goals entering tonight and Theodore was coming off his best start of the season, all of which makes the poor effort look even worse. On the season, Theodore is now 4-5-0 with an ugly .890 save percentage and an even worse 3.41 GAA. Clemmensen stopped all four shots he faced after entering the game and it's fair to wonder whether he'll start to see more starts.
