Jonathan Toews (upper body) will not travel with his teammates to Ottawa where Chicago will begin a three-game road trip on Friday. Coach Joel Quenneville is hoping that Toews will join the Blackhawks during their road swing, but he added a "we'll see," so it may not be likely. The team captain is said to be making progress from what is believed to be a concussion and he took part in an off-ice workout on Wednesday.
