Jonathan Toews thinks the NHL should have set an example with Shea Weber after he smashed Henrik Zetterberg's head into the glass in Game 1 of their first-round series.
Instead, the league slapped only a $2,500 fine on the Predators defenseman. For a league trying to eliminate head injuries -- and for someone who missed 22 games with a concussion -- Toews is perplexed. "In a situation like that with Weber, more than anything you should make an example of it, regardless of whether he's a star player," said Toews. "They have been trying to make an example of things like that so they don't happen again and all of a sudden you let one slide like that. Everyone must feel like they're back to square one. So it is frustrating."
