Jonathan Toews (lower body) missed Tuesday's exhibition game and he isn't projected to play in Thursday's contest either. However, coach Joel Quenneville is expecting Toews to be able to play over the weekend when the team heads on the road against Washington (Friday), Detroit (Sunday) and Pittsburgh (Monday).
