Jonathan Toews is the "best two-way player in the National Hockey League," according to Kings coach Darryl Sutter.
It's not unusual for the rival coach to pump up his opponents players during a playoff series, either out of respect or an effort to portray his team as the underdogs. Even still, it's interesting that Sutter would make such a statement when his best forward, Anze Kopitar, is a finalist along with Toews for the Selke Trophy, which honors the forward who demonstrates the most skill defensively. Kesler previously won the award in 2011 while Toews took it in 2013.
