He ranked second on the Blackhawks in takeaways (51) and plus-minus (+26), while excelling on faceoffs (57.2 winning percentage). Toews finished the regular season with 28 goals and 68 points in 76 games. He won the award last year and has been a finalist three times in the last four seasons.
