Jonathan Bernier, not Reimer, will start the Leafs' first two games of the season, reports TSN.ca. Reimer will get the start Saturday against Ottawa.

It feels as though coach Mike Babcock, who has stated he wants a clear-cut starter, is leaning toward Bernier for that role: "(Bernier is) a good skater, he's smart, he's worked hard at his game. He worked hard this summer and I think he's shown that he can be a real good goaltender. We expect him to have a much better year." Reimer gets his shot Saturday and will press to change his coach's mind.
