Johnson left Saturday's game against the Canadiens with an undisclosed injury, and isn't expected to return to the contest, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson sustained the injury when he lost his balance and slammed into the boards behind the Canadiens net after being shoved by Montreal's Greg Pateryn. It was an ugly play which resulted in Pateryn receiving a five-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct. Lightning fans will hope Johnson's injury isn't overly serious, as the team has been devastated by injury of late, losing Steven Stamkos (upper body) and Anton Stralman (leg) to long-term injuries. The Lightning should provide an update on Johnson's status prior to Game 1 of the team's upcoming first-round playoff series.
