John Mitchell may move into a top-six role on the Avalanche with Matt Duchene injured. He played between Ryan O'Reilly and Jamie McGinn on Saturday after Duchene got hurt. Colorado could also plug Nathan MacKinnon back into center. Mitchell has 10 goals and 28 points in 69 games this season.
