John Gibson became the youngest goaltender in NHL history to record a shutout in his NHL debut Monday. Gibson was 20 years, 207 days old, beating Darren Puppa's record set in 1985 while playing for the Sabres, by 16 days. Gibson is the best goaltending prospect in hockey and a top-three overall prospect regardless of position. His outstanding potential may allow the Ducks to let Jonas Hiller become a UFA at the end of the season and give the Ducks a Gibson-Fredrik Andersen goaltending duo going into the 2014-15 season.
