Johan Hedberg will be between the pipes for the New Jersey Devils against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday. Hedberg had a fantastic season with the Devils in 2010-11 and has been a dependable NHL backup goaltender for the last few years now. The Moose is a capable backup, but a healthy Martin Brodeur will significantly limit the amount of action he sees in 2011-12. If Brodeur goes the entire season without sustaining a major injury, then Hedberg will probably be limited to about 25 starts.
