Johan Hedberg stopped 24 of 26 shots in a 4-2 win Monday. Although we're use to Devils backups getting next to no playing time - at least when Martin Brodeur is healthy - that might not be the case with Hedberg in 2011-12. He proved that he was a capable backup last season and he might start in about 25 games this season.
