The Devils' coaching staff made the decision to start Johan Hedberg on Monday night because the Swedish goaltender had won his previous three starts. It is tough to place the blame for the loss squarely on the goalie, especially when he makes 30 saves. Nonetheless this loss will surely sting for Johan Hedberg.
