Johan Hedberg has re-signed with the New Jersey Devils. The Devils declined to disclosed the length or financial terms of the deal. Hedberg proved to be a great addition by the Devils last season. He filled in nicely when Martin Brodeur was injured and he was a solid backup when Brodeur was healthy. How much Hedberg plays next season will be largely dependent on Brodeur's ability to stay healthy. If Brodeur goes the entire season without sustaining a significant injury, then Hedberg will probably be limited to about 10 starts.
