Joffrey Lupul (broken forearm) has been placed on the injured reserve list. There's still no timetable for Lupul's return, but obviously the Maple Leafs don't expect to have him back soon. Lupul has run into injury problems in the past and because of the condensed schedule, injuries like this could end up costing players a huge chunk of the season.
