Joey MacDonald has been placed on waivers by the Calgary Flames. He owns a 3-3-1 record with an .885 save percentage and a 3.17 goals-against average in seven appearances this season. If he clears then the Flames will have the option to send him down to the minors and recall one of their netminders from Abbotsford.
