Joe Corvo probably won't be back with Boston next season, as he is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
He does possess offensive skill from the point, but he struggled to produce with the Bruins this past season. Corvo recorded four goals and 25 points in 75 games after he had 11 markers and 40 points from the back end in 2010-11 with Carolina. He was expected to help the team's power play, but generated just one goal and eight assists when Boston had the man advantage. Corvo also didn't have the best showing in his own zone when it came to turnovers, despite the fact that he finished with a plus-10 rating, which led to him being a healthy stretch frequently down the stretch.
